Canopy responds to a critical צורך ציבור to make shidduchim, in a refined, sensitive, and efficient way.
Nearly every frum family has gone or will go through the shidduch system at some point. We expect that, at this moment, at least one person in your extended family is currently looking for a shidduch. We are here to help them, and we hope you will partner with us in pursuing this worthy chessed.
We are proud to have built a funding model that is powered by donations and volunteers. We fundamentally believe that our service should be free. Most chessed organizations (e.g., Hatzalah, Ohel) would never think to charge their clients for services, but somehow, this has become an accepted practice for shidduchim. We want to extend the donation-based model to shidduchim.
We're a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so donations are tax-deductible.
